James Marsden Joins Anchorman 2

James Marsden has just signed on to one of the most anticipated sequels to date that doesn’t involve time-travelling opposing mutant forces but instead, well-groomed moustaches and expert jazz flute musicians. I am of course referring to the (hopefully) laugh-crammed comedy comeback of Ron Burgundy in Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues.

The Turtles Get A Fox

Michael ‘Boom Go Big’ Bay has had it in the neck ever since word got out that he was looking to bring the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles back to the big screen in a live action film that didn’t have Vanilla Ice in. Trouble started when script tweaks dared to mess with the mythos of the heroes in a half-shell by making them aliens, leading fans to start polishing their katanas in preparation for a bloodbath. Bay heard all of this, that is to say, he read the endless posts on this geek-fuelled super highway and as a result, the script has been held back. Now, whilst careful preparation is made so as not to pave way for countless seppuku’s, the first bit of casting has been made and it’s with none other than his old mate, Megan Fox. 

New Still For The Wolverine Arrives

With every mutant-loving eye set on Bryan Singer‘s Twitter account, a brand new still for The Wolverine appears to have snikt in through the shadows. Showing slightly more than the Days Of Future Past‘s directors recent photo album of wheelchairs and MDF-made hallways, this new photo from Logan‘s solo gig (and tweeted by director, James Mangold) instead breaks new ground by actually having a person in it. Bold move.

Russell Sends Lawrence To The End Of The Earth

Either David O’Russell is too lazy to flick through his contact list or he’s just found a new go-to-girl when he requires a female star. In this case it’s his Silver Linings Playbook and Oscar-nominated star Jennifer Lawrence, who has landed herself a hat-trick with the director for The End Of The Earth, which will also see her in the lead.
